Jakarta, Media www.rajawalisiber.com – The National Police Chief Gen. Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo has instructed his entire staff to oversee the government’s policies. According to Sigit, there are a number of policies aimed at realizing Indonesia’s economic growth.

Sigit said, currently Indonesia has experienced an increase in economic growth in the second quarter of 5.44 percent. Sigit emphasized that the National Police also continued to oversee and maintain rice self-sufficiency in the last three years.

“This is in line with the development of strategic projects such as dams, reservoirs, infrastructure, which are well developed and we must maintain this because this is the key to everything,” said Sigit in a video conference in Jakarta, Friday (19/8/2022).

Sigit said, one of the government’s programs is the realization of investment that changes the paradigm from Jakarta-centric to Indonesia-centric.

Sigit also highlighted the problem of inflation experienced by a number of regions. Sigit hopes that Polri personnel can coordinate with related parties to control this matter.

“Give assistance to local governments, there are unexpected funds or unexpected budgets that can be used to help reduce inflation, so please regional colleagues check with local governments,” he said.

“Until now, the use of the APBD budget is still 39 percent, so it’s still far from what we expected, we hope it’s already August, the government’s hope is of course at least half of it, but this is still 39 percent,” Sigit continued.

Not only that, Sigit also emphasized that the National Police continue to strive to increase Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) from various sectors as an effort to increase revenue and prevent leakage of state revenue.

“In the tax sector, especially related to things that are indeed the government’s concern, how is the role of the National Police to be able to increase state revenue,” he said.

On the other hand, Sigit asked the ranks to pay attention to the use of spending using domestic products, developing MSMEs, and maximizing national-international events in Jakarta.

“Because this is what we have to do. Then the government’s agenda in 2022, I have conveyed this and this must also go well, starting from the process of economic recovery, economic transformation,” he said.
