(Puspen TNI). Media www.rajawalisiber.com – Commander of PMPP (Center for Peace Maintenance Mission) TNI Maj. Gen. Victor H. Simatupang, M,. Bus, again dispatched 186 soldiers of the Chalk 4 United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) peace mission to Lebanon, at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Monday 25 / 1/2021.
During the departure, the XXIII-O / UNIFIL Mechanized Battalion Task Force consisted of 126 TNI AD soldiers, 44 Indonesian Navy soldiers, 16 Indonesian Air Force soldiers including 5 TNI female soldiers, with the leadership of the XXIII-O / UNIFIL Mechanized Battalion Task Force Lt. Col. Inf. Dani Indrajaya was dispatched to Lebanon using a Boing 767-300 ER aircraft.
Furthermore, the PMPP Commander said that this assignment was a noble task given to soldiers by the state to protect the good name of the Indonesian Unit and Nation.
Furthermore, the PMPP Commander conveyed a message from the TNI Commander that the task of soldiers as peacekeepers is an honor, for that they always do their best to make the name of the Indonesian nation and state proud in the eyes of the international community.
