Jakarta, Media www.rajawalisiber.com – The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police is committed to supporting law enforcement to prevent misuse of subsidized fertilizer distribution in order to ensure that the government’s program is more effective on target.
Dirtipidter Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Pipit Rismanto said the action would be carried out following problems or potential deviations arising from the price disparity between subsidized and non-subsidized principal.
In the investigation carried out, the National Police found that there was an inaccuracy in the distribution of subsidized fertilizers that were enjoyed by farmers who were not entitled or had better economic capacity.
“Because in the village there are farmers who need subsidies, and there are also those who don’t need subsidies but are subsidized,” he said in the Dissemination of the Subsidized Fertilizer Policy, quoted Monday (18/7/2022).
Furthermore, Pipit added, the root of the problem arises from the unsynchronized data on subsidized fertilizer recipients. If the data is correct, he said, then the distribution remains to be monitored.
“Is this application or system built right on target? Do farmers who need subsidies understand IT? Not necessarily. Therefore, strengthening collaboration must be done with many elements, including village officials, youth, Bhabinkamtibmas, “he said.
According to Pipit, the regulations made must provide benefits to the community. Pipit said these benefits also need to be balanced with real activities to minimize problems.
“Bareskrim is ready to support and work together, starting from mapping, collecting data to carrying out law enforcement. This is in the interest of the country,” he explained.
