Based on the Manado High Court Decision Number: 117/PID/2021/PT.Mnd dated December 02, 2021, the convict OLDY ARTHUR MUMU was legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a criminal act “Intentionally and Without Right to Distribute Electronic Information and Electronic Documents That Have Pollution Contents Good name”.
As regulated in Article 45 paragraph (3) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. For his actions, the convict was sentenced to imprisonment for 1 (one) year and a fine of Rp. 15 million subsidiary 3 (three) months in prison.
The convict OLDY ARTHUR MUMU was taken into custody because when he was summoned to be executed for a verdict, the convict did not come to fulfill the summons that had been properly conveyed and therefore the convict was included in the People’s Wanted List (DPO).
Furthermore, the team moved quickly to monitor the convict and after confirming his whereabouts, the team immediately secured the convict and was immediately taken to the North Sulawesi High Prosecutor’s Office for execution.
Through the Prosecution’s Sow (Capture Fugitives) program, the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia asked his staff to monitor and immediately arrest fugitives who are still on the loose for execution for legal certainty, and his party appealed to the entire Prosecutor’s Wanted List (DPO) to immediately surrender and be held accountable. his actions because there is no safe place for the Fugitives.
