JAKARTA Media www.rajawalisiber.com – General Listyo Sigit Prabowo officially received the leadership baton of the Bhayangkara corps from General Idham Azis. This handover of position (Sertijab) is in accordance with presidential decree (Keppres) Number 5 / Polri / 2021.
The handover was held at the Rupatama Police Headquarters building, Jalan Trunojoyo, South Jakarta, Wednesday (27/1/2021). This handover ceremony is also the handover of the leadership of Mrs. Bhayangkari from Mrs. Fitri Idham Azis to Mrs. Juliati Sigit Prabowo.
The Sertijab procession began with the handover of the Bhayangkara banner from General Idham Azis to General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. Furthermore, Mrs. Juliati Sigit Prabowo also received the leadership stick of Mrs. Bhayangkari as well as the foster mother of Polwan.
The handover ceremony was attended by the main officials of the National Police Headquarters such as Deputy Chief of Police, Komjen Gatot Eddy Prabowo, Head of Police Headquarters, Komjen Agus Andrianto and others. This handover ceremony also implements a strict COVID-19 health protocol and is broadcast virtually and attended by all Polda.
General Listyo Sigit Prabowo in his remarks said he was ready to take on his duties as the leader of the National Police. General Idhamengaku will hold all parties, both seniors and juniors, to create a precise police or predictive policing, responsibility and fair transparency.
“My appointment as the National Police Chief is a very big mandate for me to bear the consequences of being accountable not only to the laws and regulations of the leaders of the community and state but also to God Almighty,” he said.
“Therefore, good intentions and commitment to always do my best are the basis for me in bringing the National Police institution to a better future,” he continued.
Meanwhile, General Idham Azis expressed his gratitude for his support during his tenure as Chief of Police. Idham is sure that General Sigit can lead the National Police in a better direction.
“I thank Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala because it is His nature and iradat which is impossible for me to become the 24th National Police Chief. The highest gratitude goes to the president who gave me the mandate to lead the Police for approximately 454 days, “he said.
“I believe and pray, in your cold hands, through the PRESICTED transformation program towards the POLRI, the Polri Institution will be even better. As a wise man said, today must be better than yesterday and tomorrow must be better than today, “he continued.
