JAKARTA Media www.rajawalisiber.com – General Listyo Sigit Prabowo was officially appointed as the National Police Chief. General Sigit expressed his gratitude for the support of all parties, including seniors in the National Police.
“We thank you for all the support from the community, elders, seniors and also all members of the National Police everywhere for carrying out the inauguration activity today,” said General Listyo Sigit Prabowo at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (27/1/2021) .
General Sigit admitted that he was ready to take on his duties as the head of the Bhayangkara Corps. The 1991 Akpol graduate will apply the Polri which is firm but humanist.
“How to present the Polri who is firm and humanist, how to present the Polri who is able to provide good public services, how we can provide services transparently and how we are able to provide fair law enforcement, this is certainly our task in the future,” said General Sigit.
General Listyo Sigit Prabowo also spoke about the challenges ahead in the midst of the Corona pandemic. He emphasized that public safety is the highest law.
“We all know that we are facing a Covid pandemic situation, how do we try to take control of Covid, both in the activities that we discipline, enforcement of health protocols because public safety is the highest law,” he said.
“And how can the National Police help safeguard national economic growth so that we can all be separated from the existing situation and the economy can grow again,” continued General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
