Sriwijaya Air Victim’s Family Come to the Hospital. Police for DNA Sampling

Jakarta Media www.rajawalisiber.com – A family group from Angga Fernanda Afrion (26) visited the DVI Antemortem Post at the Police Hospital, East Jakarta to take DNA samples. Angga is a resident of Padang City who was also the victim of the Sriwijaya Air SJ182 plane that crashed at the Police Hospital.

The victim’s family arrived at the Antemortem Command Post at the Police Hospital at around 14:50 WIB. When visiting the post, the family also brought the victim’s child who was only 7 days old to take DNA samples.

“The child is only 7 days old,” said the victim’s family.

Apart from her baby, the victim’s wife was seen just bowed down. As is known, the victim has been in Jakarta for several days to accompany his wife who just gave birth to her first child on January 2.

Angga became one of the passengers on the Sriwijaya Air SJ182 flight from Jakarta to Pontianak which crashed in the Thousand Islands. The victim’s mother had forbidden to return to Pontianak because his wife had just given birth.

Kapolda Metro Jaya (Irjen. Pol. Dr. Drs. H. Muhammad Fadil Imran, M.Si) previously visited the Police Hospital, East Jakarta. He checked the readiness of the Antermortem DVI post at the Police Hospital when he took DNA samples from the families of the Sriwijaya Air SJ182 victims.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya (Kombes. Pol. Drs. Yusri Yunus) explained that the Head of Metro Jaya Police wanted to see firsthand the readiness of officers in serving the families of victims. So far, he found that many victims’ families had come to the post.
