Media www.rajawalisiber.com – The Investigative Team to Promote Accountability for Crimes Committed by Da’esh/ISIL (UNITAD) will be organizing a Special Event, co-hosted by the United Kingdom,
Iraq and the United States and co-sponsored by the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates.
The event will highlight innovative approaches in UNITAD’s work, and in particular we will provide a visual representation of some of the evidence in our Yazidi case brief.
The event will also focus on UNITAD’s use of advanced technology in our work, and our efforts in engaging with vulnerable witnesses, and this aspect of our work has benefited significantly from the Netherlands’ generous and sustained financial contributions.
High-level participants will include Nobel Laureate Nadia Murad and Victims Counsel Amal Clooney.
