Media www.rajawalisiber.com – Stockholm +50 Leadership Dialogue 1: Reflecting on the Urgent need for Actions to Achieve a Healthy Planet and Prosperity of all.
The 1st Leadership Dialogue focuses on the actions needed to live in harmony with nature for development, gender, intra and intergenerational equity, and human wellbeing.
The high-level event is presided by the two Co-Chairs, Canada and Ecuador and includes 8 panelists divided in 2 sets. In addition, the event will have 2 sections of interventions from government representatives and other stakeholders.
The discussions contribute to the outcome of Stockholm+50 by yielding clear and concrete recommendations and messages for action at all levels to urgently tackle the climate and biodiversity crisis, while avoiding accelerating pollution, and unsustainable behaviours ensuring justice, inclusion and intergenerational equity.
The theme and scope of the Leadership Dialogue is the result of an inclusive and extensive consultation process with hundreds of stakeholders representing civil society, Indigenous Groups, youth, women, private sector amongst others.
