Media www.rajawalisiber.com – In the wake of terrorist attacks that have killed eleven Israelis in the past week, officials are heightening their preparations for preventing further violence during the imminent confluence of Ramadan, Passover, and Easter.

Yet the PA’s current weakness and the abundance of malign actors on the ground mean that the risk of clashes and broader instability remains high. To discuss these risks and associated U.S. policy options,

The Washington Institute is pleased to announce a virtual Policy Forum with Anna Ahronheim, Ghaith al-Omari, and Matthew Levitt, to be moderated by Institute executive director Robert Satloff.

Anna Ahronheim is a military and defense correspondent for the Jerusalem Post. After studying criminal justice in Canada, she moved to Israel and earned an MA in counterterrorism and homeland security from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya.

Ghaith al-Omari is a senior fellow at The Washington Institute and former advisor to the Palestinian negotiating team during the 1999-2001 permanent-status talks.

Matthew Levitt is the Institute’s Fromer-Wexler Fellow and director of its Reinhard Program on Counterterrorism and Intelligence. Previously, he served as deputy assistant secretary for intelligence and analysis at the Treasury Department.
